This is it. The week of September 21st is considered the "official" premiere week this fall. Almost every series on television, new or returning, will be beginning their season this week. There will still be a few premieres a week for another month or so, but the fall 2009 schedule will be mostly in place by the end of this week.
The schedule of TV series premieres for Monday, September 21st to Sunday, September 27th:
Monday, September 21st

ABC: Dancing With the Stars at 8pm; Castle at 10pm
NBC: Heroes at 8pm

Tuesday, September 22nd

Now that you've seen most of the fall schedule, are there times that you will be needing a DVR (or 2?). How about the Monday night at 8pm time slot with House, Heroes and How I Met Your Mother all on at the same time. Do Thursday nights have you realizing that you will have to catch up on most of the shows over the weekend because there are too many good series all in one night?
Good luck figuring out your recording and watching schedule. And don't forget to watch the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards tomorrow night, Sunday, September 20th at 8pm (Luckily, even if you don't record the premieres of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Bored to Death, HBO will repeat them during the week).
