Teenagers are at that funny age where trick-or-treating during Halloween isn’t exactly the coolest thing to do. But teens still want to get together with friends and have a good time because it is a tradition. Safety is always an issue, whether you’re talking safety for younger kids going around trick-or-treating, or whether you’re talking about teenagers going to a party.
Decide what the rules are.
If you are clear you do not want your teenager out roaming the neighborhood, possibly getting into trouble, then make it a rule. Decide on the consequences ahead of time if your teen breaks the rule.
