It was bound to happen. Two of Disney's biggest stars - High School Musical's Zac Efron and Hannah Montana's Miley Cyrus - are going to costar in a feature film remake of the classic TV series Gidget.
Disney Society reports that Cyrus will play the iconic surfer gal Gidget while Efron is in talks to play her love interest.
The original Gidget launched the career of Sally Field, who played the spunky title character. Her costar was singer and actor Frankie Avalon.

Umm, your story is wrong. The rumor is that he might be approached for the role. But he'll turn it down. He doesn't want to do movies like that.

OMG!!!! zac efron is the sexiest guy and miley cyrus is the sexiest girl (in my mind). they would be the hottest couple to ever happen in disney history. their name can be MIZA or ZILEY.

No no no no no! I couldn't stand to see that. Zac is not for Miley's face. And I agree with Anon: Zac won't do a movie like this. We want to see him in more mature roles.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! He's so gorgeyy and she's just, well, not! Besides, he is wayyy too mature for her. She is just a disgusting mess to be honest and a rubbish role model.
And another thing, Zac will not do a movie like this; he wants to move onto more mature roles, ie, not playing Minging Miley's teeny-bopper boyfriend!
