Expect to see the biggest teen stars on the red carpet and onstage at the 36th annual People's Choice Awards. The show will be held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Nominee selections for the awards show have just been released.
Pattinson is up for Favorite Movie Actor nomination along with fellow teen heartthrobs Shia LaBeouf and Zac Efron. The three stars are up against Hollywood heavyweights such Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, and more. Pattinson's love interest Kristen Stewart is up for Favorite Movie Actress while Taylor Lautner is up for a Favorite Breakout Movie Actor nomination. The hit movie Twilight is competing in the Favorite Movie category with other blockbusters such as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Vying for a Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Pop Artist nomination are celebrity pals Cyrus and Swift. The "You Belong With Me" singer is also up for a Favorite Country Artist nomination.
Lovato goes up against Lady GaGa and American Idol's Kris Allen and Adam Lambert in the Favorite Breakout Artist category. Noticeably absent from a People's Choice nomination are the Jonas Brothers, who were shut out of the Favorite Rock Band selection.
