The Jonas Brothers turned from teen pop stars to music moguls today. The “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” trio signed the band Honor Society to the record label they started with Hollywood Records. “You have heard us talk about them before and we hope that you have seen them at one of our shows,” Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas said in a statement today. “We are so excited about this new venture and all things to come for our friends.”
New Jersey-based band Honor Society includes Michael Bruno, Jason Rosen, Andrew Lee, and Alexander Noyes. Their EP “A Tale of Risky Business” caught the attention of teen heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers last summer, who asked the band to be their opening act on tour. This month, Honor Society kicks off the Full Moon Crazy Tour, which is also the official Jonas Brothers Tour Party. Their single “Where Are You Now” will also be featured in the upcoming movie Bandslam, starring Vanesa Hudgens and Aly Michalka, opening August 14th.
