"Apples' iPhone 4 is Microsoft's Windows Vista ", says Microsoft boss

South Florida iPhone users heard more disparaging news on the iPhone saga problem. Kevin Turner, Microsoft CEO, draws comparison of iPhone 4 to Windows Vista. The Windows Vista operating system is considered the least successful platform from Microsoft; according to Turner, the latest version of iPhone saga is too. He said succinctly: "One of the things I am sure of: users can buy our Windows 7 Phone system without worrying about security". Now, Apple faces several lawsuits, one of them presented by law firms, Ward & Ward, PLLC, Charles A. Gilman.

Mr. Turner was referring to the reception problems of the iPhone family. The phone, according to PC News magazine shows incorrectly two bars of signal strength more than it should. Thus, the person believes he is in a good coverage area; but in fact, he is not. Apple posted a statement on the Internet confirming the wrong reading on iPhone 4 to be four bars, when it should be two.

When the user holds the phone in a certain way (blocking the lower left corner, where the antenna is placed), there is a decline of several bars.  Luis Corrales, PhD. In Bioengineering and professor at the National Polytechnic School, said the signal bars appearing on cell phones screen are a general method to measure the signal. If blocking occurs the meter screen shows it

Corrales said that if an user places his finger on the antennae of the iPhone, it acts as antenna, blocking and interfering with the receiving signal. "We have verified this in the labs, which mean that our bodies can as an antenna".  Apple uses an integrated a system in which the outer band is used to place the phone antennas. For Ramiro Espinosa, telecoms engineer, signal loss also depends on the coverage area of the mobile operator.

He said: "Apple thinks the problem could be corrected with software updates because they loose coverage, but they made a miscalculation to show the signal level bars". Espinosa also warns that the most important system of reception / transmission is the antenna design. These should be designed according to the frequency of operation. For example, tuning a VHF TV antenna is not the same as tuning UHF TV. A similar situation occurs in mobile telephony. The higher the frequency goes the lower the size of the antenna reception transmission and vice verse.

Apple will spend US $175 million on cases to be distributed free of charge to fix the antenna problem on the iPhone 4. South Florida phone users of iPhone 4, you have a choice: Pick up your new case or go to court. If you are happy, stay happy. Good luck to all
