Amazon has been introducing new Cyber Monday deals every hour through their GoldBox deals portal. The latest offer is for the Sony HTCT100 sound bar and subwoofer. List price comes in at $399.99, Cyber Monday price is $199.99. This is about $40.00 less than street price (normal sale price).

Think of a sound bar system as an unobtrusive way to get a home theater like experience without all the cables and big speakers. While this type of system will not sound as good as one with a home theater receiver and speaker separates, it is a fraction of the cost and can be used in smaller spaces quite easily. This particular unit has a solid four-star rating from over 259 Amazon reviewers, with strengths coming in the form factor and weaknesses having to do with connectivity and the included non-universal remote.
