Heads-up, tea lovers! Some nifty tea news from some nifty tea companies:
1. Chicago Tea Garden is offering free samples of their delicious and unique teas to all US residents. My personal favorites include the Golden Bi Luo and Competition Grade Ti Kuan Yin. All you need to do is sign up for their e-newsletter and pick out your sample!
2. Our own National Tea Examiner, Margaret Studer wrote a great review of ineeka's Himalayan Black "Intensity" tea. Incidentally, this is one of my favorite "everyday" black teas, so I strongly encourage you to both read her review and get some for yourself. Chicago's ineeka is an innovative tea company with some innovative packaging (and great tea), and I am glad that they are here.
3. Adagio is opening a retail store in Naperville, and expects an August, 2010 opening. For more details on this exciting new project, check out "Tea Retailer", a blog by Adagio's Charles Cain, which chronicles the opening of the store.

Thanks for mentioning my article,Lainie, and thanks for introducing me to Ineeka. I was quite impressed. There will be additional reviews on Ineeka teas as soon as I can replace my "cup". I broke the cup I use for photographing tea color. So I have been hitting stores looking for one with the same facets that bring out many-colored reflections in tea.
Ineeka gets an A++ for their packaging. I would love it if all teas came that way.
