Access Hollywood reporter Nancy O’Dell revealed her 2009 CMA backstage footage on tonight’s episode. The footage included a behind the scenes look at what it took to create the talk show spoof she and Taylor Swift performed. The two sat on a set with a film crew and read their lines over until they got it right. Being pros they “got it right” in only seven takes. The two gave each other a high five in congratulations, and said Swift ,“ We cant beat it!”
The two nervously awaited the start of the show backstage as they glimpsed the crowd of thousands waiting to see the show. O’Dell asked Swift if she was nervous to which she replied "YES".
Said O’Dell," I am nervous for her, but she’s gonna be great”.
Swift was was so nervous she asked the reporter to hold her hand. O’Dell wished Swift “good luck” as the show began. The previously filmed footage was show on the jumbo-trons to coincide with their live bit which went over without a hitch. See the complete footage via the link below:
