Taylor Swifts fantastic performance on Saturday night live apparently has peaked the interest of Vampire Diaries director Kevin Williamson.
Said Williamson “ I am desperate to have Swift come play a vampire, wouldn't she make an amazing Kirsten Dunst circa Interview With The Vampire type?" He may have to get in line with all the other offers that are bound to come in or the singer turned actress including a possible role in the Twilight series.
Swift has been dating actor Taylor Lautner from Twiight, and would be a shoe in for a role in one of the films. Lautner plays a werewolf in the series latest installment “New Moon” and having his real life love interest Swift along side him, would surely be a golden ticket for future sales. Reportedly Swift has already been offered a guest starring role in the CW hit “Vampire Diaries” but no word yet if she will accept it. As “Diaries” director Williams put it, "Oh my god, I cannot tell you how hard I'm trying to get her - I would kill to have her on the show! " But confessed Swift may be “too big for Vampire Diaries now”.

i hope she doesn't cave into this vampire craze I don't understand the fascination with vampires. In my opinion she has enough success by herself she doesn't need to go this direction.
I agree with tayswiftfan, a guest appearance from time to time would be great, but nothing more... her music career is amazing. Stay with your passion!
I'm anxious to see if she will attempt acting as well. "Being" a vampire isn't the only option out there, and she can get some training under her belt first. (in acting that is) Go for it Taylor!
