Taylor Lautner becomes highest-paid teenage actor with 'Northern Lights'

Project after project is lining up for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and Valentine's Day star Taylor Lautner.

First it was Max Steel, then Cancun, and, most recently, Vision Quest. Now, it seems, Lautner has been tagged to another film, Northern Lights, with Tom Cruise.

The film is said to be directed by John Moore (Max Payne), and Lautner has commanded a nice salary for the project. According to Nikki Finke, he'll be "getting $7.5 million for his next pic" which has "a start date of April 1st."

Finke continues, "the pic is about 'a gifted, young, aerobatics pilot who faces off with his controlling, billionaire father and falls in love with a gifted, female pilot.'"

Finke also revealed that the sum Taylor Lautner will receive for Northern Lights makes him the highest-paid teenager in Hollywood right now, surpassing Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron. Finke questions whether Lautner's paycheck for Max Steel will exceed this hefty sum. Either way, congrats to Taylor Lautner for this incredible accomplishment!
