Jean grew up in Minnesota, and is a former horse trainer, feedlot and ranch employee. She is an accomplished hobby cook and buys her produce from local farmers markets and stores that carry organic, grass fed, cage free eggs, meat, poultry and produce as much as she can. She supports the small family farms and producers who care about the consumer, the environment and most of all the animals who provide these foods for us. She believes that those who raise things right should be rewarded for their efforts.
