With the glut of strawberries around right now, and the back-aching work of harvesting them, the thought of turning them into a refreshing drink is awfully tempting. Here's a simple, delicious recipe for a cocktail that uses two of the most omnipresent crops of the season.
Honeyed Strawberry Mojitos
Ingredients:
- 3 strawberries
- 5 mint leaves
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 shot light rum
- 1/2 a lime
- soda
Directions:
Squish the strawberries, mint, honey, and juice from the lime at the bottom of a glass. Top with ice. Add shot of rum, and fill with soda. Enjoy!
