Whether you are planning to go out for a zombie walk (don't forget the Carbondale Zombie Walk on May 1!), or you just want to look like the undead, be sure do your makeup just right. After all, undead flesheaters need to look appropriately ghoulish and ghastly.
Here are a few zombie makeup tips to help you out.
Always start with clean skin and test out any makeup ahead of time. You don't want to be a zombie with a rash because that's just not pretty. Worse, you don't want to have to make a trip to the emergency room because you are seriously allergic to something in the makeup.
Use a hair net, hair clips, head band or some type of hair piece to pull your hair away from your face. It just makes it easier to apply your makeup.
Keep a few baby wipes on hand for quick clean up if you make mistakes and also for easy clean up when you want to remove the makeup.
Try not to touch your face or scratch as it can rub the makeup off.
