The Imperial Pentagon isn't just content with a foreign empire anymore. It is now seeking the authority to station 400,000 troops in the continental US:
The Pentagon has approached Congress to grant the Secretary of Defense the authority to post almost 400,000 military personnel throughout the United States in times of emergency or a major disaster. This request has already occasioned a dispute with the nation’s governors. And it raises the prospect of U.S. military personnel patrolling the streets of the United States, in conflict with the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878.
In June, the U.S. Northern Command distributed a “Congressional Fact Sheet” entitled “Legislative Proposal for Activation of Federal Reserve Forces for Disasters.” That proposal would amend current law, thereby “authorizing the Secretary of Defense to order any unit or member of the Army Reserve, Air Force Reserve, Navy Reserve, and the Marine Corps Reserve, to active duty for a major disaster or emergency.
The most shocking part of this story is that it "raises the prospect of US military personnel patrolling the streets of the United States." It appears that those tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists might have just been right after all in warning against the continuing militarization of the rapidly fading American Republic.
Just what are all these troops to be used for? There have been many theories proposed: for detaining illegal immigrants, national emergencies, or the possibility of bringing foreign detainees to US military prisons. Yet none of these explanations answers the question of why the Pentagon would need 400,000 troops to do the job.
This story, combined with the US Army's recruiting of "Internment/Relocation" specialists and the National Guard's "Military Occupational Specialists," and there appears to be the growing possibility that the US military will be used to help the tame the growing dissent of US citizens.
As our bloated and corrupt DC regime continues to face a growing opposition, it is no wonder that it is looking to squash any possible resistance to its iron-fisted rule. All you need to do is Google "FEMA camps" to see the likely future of the USSA.

Great article. Well-stated. First they will make everyone hungry. That makes people more likely to turn their weapons on their fellow citizens for a loaf of bread.
Does anyone see the irony here? They refer to the troops as Federal Reserve forces.
I don't the gov logic.... Gov by the people puts down the people with the people this country in fact is on it's way to becoming the red square, this obamanation.
The 400,000 troops are what was suggested for Afghanistan ...don't you know with the troop numbers we have in Iraq and afghanistan it would be impossible to put another 400,000 troops here...
