Early headlines today proclaimed Maurice Clemmons was injured and possibly dead inside a Washington state house where police were involved in a 12 hour standoff with the shooting suspect. But, it turned out after authorities stormed the home around 7am local time, Clemmons was not only not injured or dead, he wasn't in the home at all. (Police maintain however, that Clemmons has suffered a gun shot wound, citing others who have been arrested for aiding the suspected cop killer.) Police say there is evidence, though, that Clemmons had been in the house. According to reports police also say it appears Clemmons was outside the home Sunday night (11/29), but he had since escaped stumping police.
Since this morning police have been on what's turned up to be wild goose chase as they literally chase reported sightings and leads across the city. According to the Seattle Times police swarmed the University of Washington and a local park today following citizen calls, but Clemmons has continued to elude police.
Maurice Clemmons is the now infamous suspect who police say ambushed a group of four Lakewood, WA police officers at a Seattle-area coffee shop. All four officers, three men and a woman, were killed.

that dudes in deep doo doo........
Hope they have the death penalty there in Washington!!
I hope he get sodomized with a rusty broom stick
Lakewood, People it's just South of Tacoma.
It is nowhere near Seattle.
No Lakewood isn't Seattle but being only 20mins away, thats where the police were told he was. The 12hr stand off was at a home in Seattle and since thirty percent of the Lakewood PD were the victims in this, Seattle PD are helping both in the investigation and in the town of Lakewood.
Society are so naïve. Anything cops says they believe. They say he is the suspect and society things he's the one that did it. They say he was at a Seattle house and he might be died and you guys probably believed it and wasted hours, I mean hours and wasn't even there. If you call that police work than this might be another cold case for them
