David Archuleta kicks off his holiday tour 'Christmas from the Heart' Tuesday (11/24) in his home state of Utah. The American Idol runner up from Season 7 will play two consecutive nights in his native Utah before taking the 'From the Heart' show on the road. Archuleta will visit 17 cities during the month long tour. The tour ends in Westbury, New York on December 20. Archuleta will be joined on tour by opening act Benton Paul.
Monday, the 18 year old Archuleta tweeted, "Rehearsing the day before the first shows in Salt Lake! So excited for the 2 hometown shows! Anyone coming to Abravanel Hall??" But we're hoping he's not working too hard ahead of opening night tomorrow. David also revealed, "My voice is a little worn out. It was fine until I had a bunch of convos last night lol. Will take it easy in rehearsals today!"
The then-16 year old Archuleta became an overnight sensation during his impressive run on American Idol. A fan favorite throughout the competition, Archuleta took second place in a show-ending shocker to the very talented, older, and more experienced David Cook.
Archuleta's tour follows his very successful holiday album Christmas from the Heart which was released in October 2009.

Deek WOW what a jerk you are! First of all you know nothing all all about David Archuleta. He is not 16 he was 18 now 19 as of 12-28. His tour of Christmas from the Heart is definately news worthy.
