Carrie Underwood became, without question, the most suddenly famous American Idol graduate when she won the singing competition just four and half years ago. So it's hard to believe she's already heading out on her fifth tour, Play On.
Friday, the 26 year old announced 45 tour dates for her 2010 Play On Tour following the November 2009 release of her third album, Play On. It was an instant chart topper, which means Underwood fans can expect quite a show when Carrie hits the road. In announcing the Play On Tour on her website Carrie says "“I am getting so excited about next year as we are currently working through all the big plans for the tour. I cannot wait to perform new music and see familiar faces across the U.S. and Canada!” Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia will be her opening acts when the tour kicks off on March 11, 2010.
Concert tickets go on sale Friday, December 18 so if you've got a Carrie Underwood fan you still need to buy a Christmas gift for...now you have no excuse!
