Tiger Woods' accident drug related?

Tiger Woods' accident may be drug related

Tiger Woods' recent accident may have been drug related despite police saying alcohol was not a factor. What about drugs?

The number 1 golfer in the world crashed his 2009 Cadillac SUV into a fire hydrant, and then a tree at about 2:30am on Friday the 27th. Tiger's camp didn't release a statement about the event until 13 hours later. WTF?

Call it suspicion, paranoia, or radar, but something stinks about this whole situation and flat-out appears to be a cover-up by the Wood's camp.

"Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor said his two officers found the 33-year-old Woods lying in the street with his wife, Elin, hovering over him...She supposedly got him out and laid him on the ground...He was in and out of consciousness when my guys got there,"  reported Yahoo News.  Chief Saylor also said when Tiger did say something, he wasn't coherent.

Tiger's website stated, "Tiger Woods was in a minor car accident outside his home last night. He was admitted, treated and released today in good condition. We appreciate very much everyone's thoughts and well wishes."

In and out of consciousness? Incoherent speech? Out at 2:30am?  Marital problems. Tiger's wife telling police that he was sleeping when they came knocking at his door to ask questions about the crash, (possibly buying time for a story to be concocted, or even gain some "clean time" after the accident).

Tiger missed eight months of golf while recovering from reconstructive surgery on his left knee. He was probably taking painkillers after surgery, and possibly during physical therapy. If he was taking narcotic painkillers, it is possible that he may have developed a problem with them. It is unlikely, but you never know. Nobody is immune from drug abuse, or addiction, doesn't matter who you are, or how much money you have. The way Tiger was acting at the crash scene is more like someone who was high, rather than upset because of a domestic issue.

This may be way off base, but bells and whistles are going off regarding this whole situation. TIger was emotionally upset due to some domestic problems, and this caused his erratic behavior. Ok. However, it just doesn't explain the whole picture. Why all the secrecy? Tiger wouldn't be the first celebrity with marital problems, or even the first athlete with a drug problem. He also wouldn't be the first celebrity to rough up a spouse, or girlfirend, and that is what appears to be getting sugar-coated. TMZ reported, and authorities confirmed there was a domestic dispute that night between Tiger and his wife, Elin Nordegren. Drugs, or alcohol use, and spousal abuse go together often, as well.

The matter is under investigation by police, and charges are possible. Tiger could be charged with reckless driving to DUI. Hospital personnel likely took blood tests and this would determine if Tiger had either alcohol or drugs in his system, if the police requested a check for intoxicants. Hopefully, he had neither of them. But crazier, and worse things have happened in the sports and entertainment industries.

Likely scenario? Marital dispute over infidelity, Tiger storms out of the house after a physical altercation, and then crashes his vehicle as he is peeling away from the madness in a harried emotional state. However, do not discount the possibility that drugs were involved.

Here come the emails and replies about being a moron to even suggest Tiger used drugs or alcohol, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. And no, this is no conspiracy theory article. Just putting something out there many don't have the kahunas to say. Even if there is nothing to this accident, like drugs, or alcohol, Tiger Woods is not some god incapable of mistakes.

Update: Police tried to talk with Tiger Woods Saturday the 28th but were thwarted once again. Stalling is not the kind of behavior that lends itself to credibility Tiger. Your fans are waiting, and the many corporations who have paid you millions to endorse their products are chewing their fingernails right about now wondering why your ducking and dodging.  The alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel has people buzzing all over the net, as well.

As a recovering addict i hate to say it because i am a Tiger Woods fan but it does sound a little like a drug problem from personal experience. The air bag didn't even go off and he is in and out of conciousness? I would like to here the story they come up with of why the hell he was up at 2:30 driving 30 miles an hour and manages to run in to two objects. He may have also been on some kind of perscribed sleep aid. Ambien CR has side affects of sleep walking some cases have been reported of people coming to and they are parked on the side of a canyon road with no recollection of what happened. Either way in my opinion and experince i believe it was drug related.

    To: recovering addict:

I never discount drugs or alcohol as being a factor in situations like this. It is not being accusatory, or on par with some kind of conspiracy theory. Neither is it muckraking, or slandering the person/s involved. Just being cautious, because as most of us know, there is not a person on this planet immune from drug abuse and/or addiction.

Hopefully, Tiger is not involved with any drugs, or alcohol. However, he has another formidable problem on his hands right now, and that is domestic abuse. Who did the abusing is the question. But stalling authorities by refusing to talk to them is hurting more than it is helping matters. Makes it look like a cover-up is being hatched, wounds to heal, and again, possibly drugs purged from the system. If hospital personnel did not run a screen for drugs, or alcohol via a blood test, we will never know that part.

We are all human, including Tiger, who some think is a god incapable of no wrong. We all make mistakes.
