Last night at the Obama Administration's first State Dinner, First Lady Michelle Obama hit one out of the park in her diplomatic Naeem Khan gown. The strapless gold and silver embossed gown truly outshined as her skirt flared out when she walked.

It was no coincidence that Mrs. Obama chose a dress by an Indian-born designer as the First Couple hosted the prime minister of India and his wife as the dinner was in honor of their visit to America.

Paired with a matching, and sometime cumbersome shaw, along with gold bangles, Mrs. Obama showed equisite taste that had critics like Sally Quinn clamoring for the gown.
