When Angelina Jolie attended the Academy Awards last month, she made a real statement with her gorgeous green emerald earrings and a matching cocktail ring. Bold statement jewelry can take an outfit from drab to fab.

This season, choose colorful earrings, chunky beaded necklaces and thick cuff bracelets. Of course, all of us can't afford huge emeralds like those dangling from Angelina's ears, but that doesn't mean you should miss out on this hot trend.
Fashion jewelry with faux gemstones, Swarovski crystals and bright beads will due the trick without costing you a fortune. Check the Etsy jewelry shops for affordable choices.

Yay for Etsy! It's true, there are so many creative indie artists selling there(lot's of crap-ola too, unfortunately.
I've had a shop for a little while, with my hair accessories made from vintage buttons. People seem to be excited about them, and it's a pretty way to turn a ponytail into something more special, without looking like every other bendels, Barneys, Bloomies(Or Penneys, Kohl, Target or WM shopper.....)
Etsy gives people access to handmade jewelry from throughout the world. What could be better than communicating directly with the individual artisans and designers? Perhaps it's that jewelry made by hand with skill, patience, and a passion for the craft has a very different feel than any mass-produced piece. No wonder Etsy is gaining so much popularity!
Whle you're there, visit our shop for custom, one of a kind and limited edition jewelry, handmade with a quality that cannot be matched by machines.

Thank you so much for mentioning Etsy in your article. As the previous poster said, there are so many talented artisans who run shops on Etsy. I've had a shop there for a bit over a year. You will have to sort through items because of the search process, however I've found some very high-quality purses, clothing, greeting cards, invitations, and the best cherry side table in the world. You can find just about anything you can think of on Etsy, and the great part is that 9 times out of 10 its entirely handmade and unique.
