KTLA Grammy Inspired Fashion Segment.
L.A. is still cleaning up post Grammy madness from last weekend, and the hot red carpet looks are, as always, the talk of the town. Year after year, the music award’s celebrity parade produces the season’s most coveted and trend savvy looks. And, while not everyone can snap up a fabulous Pucci gown or killer Louboutin heels – everyone can take a little something away from the glamour of the Grammys. Be it a sweet and innocent take on Taylor Swift’s style, a smidgen of Rihanna’s fierce flair, or a tiny bit of our very own Fergalicious Fergie – borrow a bit from the top notes of these serious style icons and infuse new life into your personal look.
Not sure what to steal and what to skip? I put together a Grammy Inspired Fashion Segment for KTLA with our favorite leading ladies. Check out the behind the scenes pictures in the slideshow below. Here’s a breakdown of how to emulate the looks of four favorite artists:

"Fergie" style. BCBG Dress. White Military Jacket and Necklace, Varga.
Fergie
Want a little of that boom boom pow? Get your lady lumps into something body conscious like an ultra slimming bandage dress in an eye popping bright color. Find your inner Fergie with sky high zipper heels and statement pieces like a metallic chain necklace, and top off the look with a military inspired jacket in the season’s new black – white. Try this coral strapless bandage dress from BCBG at Westside Pavilion.

"Katy Perry" style. Nordstrom.
Katy Perry
Hot or cold – Katy’s always sporting something girly. Think polka dots, hearts, and candy colors all in modern retro styles. Pick up a prim embellished cardigan, like this ruffled one from Nordstrom at Los Cerritos Center, and pair it with playful micro mini and some pearls for a look that’s in when you’re out.

"Rihanna" style. Note the black leather fingerless gloves, Metropark.
Rihanna
If it’s style that you want, you should make this your look – a wicked pair of distressed skinnies, hardware adorned heels, and a voluminous faux fur vest. There’s no hiding under your umbrella with fashion this forward – so go all out and finish with a pair of fingerless gloves. Here’s some from Metropark at The Oaks.

"Lady Gaga" style. Hair bow is a Hot Topic exclusive.
Lady Gaga: Go goo-goo for Lady Gaga; everyone’s doing it. With looks that don’t scream “everyday” to most, Gaga’s influence is best kept to simple pieces like this funky hair bow from Hot Topic at Lakewood Center. Or, be brave and go all out with a pair of teeny tap pants and patterned tights and let the extreme reign supreme on your next night out.
