If you’re worried about what to wear to one of the many holiday parties on your upcoming dance card, Steve Kemble has come to the rescue.

Kemble, who describes himself as “America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru,” dishes and disses about fashion weekly as a Top Cop for Us Weekly magazine’s Fashion Police.

“People are still looking to dress up,” Kemble said on a recent stop at Fashion Show mall. “They are excited that they get to wear a dress.”

That doesn’t mean going out to buy an entirely new outfit. Kemble, based in Dallas, has found that many are gussying up an old outfit with new accessories. New shoes, handbags and statement jewelry can create a whole new look for an outfit from last season.

And if you do want to buy a new outfit, go for the hot color of the season, gold. Kemble says he’s seeing it on everything from shoes to dress, and even highlighted by silver.
