Funny girl Ellen DeGeneres is the newest face for CoverGirl

CoverGirl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation

And you thought Ellen DeGeneres was just a funny girl. CoverGirl announced that the talk show host is the newest face representing the company. DeGeneres will be the spokesmodel for the company’s newest product, CoverGirl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation.

This new generation of anti-aging makeup makes fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable by suspending over them. Simply Ageless Foundation works with the skin’s temperature to transform the foundation from a cream to a liquid on contact. The liquid then forms an “invisible suspension system” that floats over the surface without gathering in lines, making imperfections seem to virtually disappear.

This marks DeGeneres’ first foray into the world of beauty. Ads touting the new foundation begin running in print and on television in January.

CoverGirl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation is available at Walgreens for $15.99.
