As a wife and mother of two (one boy and one girl!) not counting the pets, Veronica delights in nurturing her family in the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. She is very active in the lives of her children and believes in encouraging them to be who they are. Her journey through motherhood involves raising a child with special needs and this has led to many personal philosophies, including her favorite piece of advice for new moms--do what works for you and your family! When not involved in a round of Candy Land, assisting with homework, folding clothes or scrubbing dirty dishes, she can often be found writing or crocheting.
