This morning Google announced their second annual Doodle 4 Google contest for kids. Google Doodles are the special “dressed-up” versions of the Google logo that run for special events and holidays.
Not only will the winning child have his or her artwork displayed on the Google homepage for hundreds of millions of viewers to admire, that child will also win a college scholarship, and a technology grant for their school. As the winner, or one of 40 finalists, he or she will also get to see the work in a special exhibit at the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
This year Google has partnered with Smithsonian’s, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum for the competition. The theme is What I Want For The World. Your school must be registered for the contest for your child to participate.
