The Food and Drug Administration confirmed that E. coli was found in a sample of refrigerated cookie dough voluntarily recalled by Nestles last week.
The raw cookie dough is suspected to have sickened 69 people in 29 states. The E. coli was found in bar cookie dough. The label said "best before June 10 2009."
Nestles makes refrigerated pastas and pasta sauces at the same plant.

E. coli symptoms include:
- severe stomach cramping
- diarrhea (watery at first and often changing to bloody)
- nausea
- vomiting
