A Colorado Springs doctor who was caught selling prescription drugs to undercover officers has been sentenced in a separate case, in which he was accused of charging $300 to fill out paperwork so someone could get a medical marijuana registry card.Peter W.S. Grigg pleaded guilty Monday to a state charge of attempting to influence a public servant and was sentenced to five years of probation. The 49-year-old anesthesiologist also was ordered to serve 250 hours of community service.

Newmont Mining has agreed to sell a 14 percent stake in an Indonesian gold mine for $494 million, ending a years-long dispute with the Indonesian government over how the mining company should sell shares as required under its contract to operate in the country.Newmont shares ownership of the Batu Hijau mine with Japan's Sumitomo Corp. and Indonesia's PT Pukuafu Indah. The Denver-based company says it will transfer the stake to private company PT Multicapital and PT Multi Daerah Bersaing, a consortium of regional and local Indonesian governments.

A Denver judge ruled Monday there is not enough evidence to revoke the bond of a woman accused of driving drunk and killing two Connecticut librarians on their way to the airport.Sandra Jacobson was arrested and sent to jail last week after a college classmate told authorities he saw her driving away from the Colorado Technical University campus. That prompted prosecutors to allege that she violated conditions of her $250,000 bond, and they asked that it be revoked.

A juvenile suspected of joining several other people in videotaping a series of robberies and assaults in Denver has been arrested.Police said Monday that the juvenile, whose name wasn't released, was arrested in Indiana.
