Update: Project Runway's Christian Siriano creates Starbucks first designer Starbucks Card
Apparently at some point today, Christian Siriano was to unveil his “holiday collaboration with Starbucks,” but all has been quiet on the Siriano front. New York Magazine’s The Cut reported that details of the collaboration must be kept under wraps by news outlets until November 17. That’s a long time to wait for good fashion.
This wouldn’t be the first time Starbucks strolled down the fashion runway. Back in February 2007, Starbucks teamed up with another Project Runway alum, Season Three finalist, Mychael Knight, to offer customized t-shirts.

Starbucks customers had the opportunity to not only personalize their drinks to taste but to wear their favorite beverage on their shirt. Knight's coffee-drink-themed "My Starbucks" shirts were available free of charge. Customers went to Starbucks.com and customized their favorite beverage for their one-of-a kind shirt such as a “tall with room Americano” or a “double tall non-fat, extra-hot latte”.
Chances are Christian Siriano will not be designing t-shirts…that would be “a hot mess”! But maybe a tumbler? Or perhaps a new barista apron? Either way…it’s sure to be fierce!
What do you think the Starbucks/Siriano collaboration will be?
