Free pint of Starbucks ice cream/Starbucks Coffee Company
Starting today until July 19, Starbucks is giving away 280,000 free pints of super-premium Starbucks ice cream in celebration of National Ice Cream Month. July was declared National Ice Cream Month in 1984 by then President Ronald Reagan; the third Sunday of the month (Sunday, July 19 this year) is designated as National Ice Cream Day.
So in honor of one of country’s favorite indulgences, Starbucks is encouraging Facebook users to treat their family and friends to a free pint of ice cream. Up to 20,000 coupons will be available daily. Visit “Share New Starbucks Ice Cream with a Friend”, log in to Facebook and follow the easy instructions to share the redeemable coupon.
However, do you feel you may have missed your opportunity for the free yummy goodness? Don’t fret. Starbucks is giving away 800 coupons at the top of every hour so set your timers. But if waiting around the computer, doesn’t sound like much fun, you can also download a coupon for $1.00 off your favorite pint of Starbucks ice cream.

"Use of application "Share a Pint of New Starbucks® Ice Cream" has been restricted
We're sorry, but this application is not available to you. Please visit the Application Directory to find other applications."
I read the small print underneath the description graphic. It says that in order to receive the ice cream you can't live in certain states, and TN just so happens to be one.
Alice, you need to log in. After I logged in, I was able to get the application. And all you have to do is have the coupon mailed to whichever person you chose to, including yourself.
This is crazy. I won't try again, and I sure won't run out to try their ice cream after this gimmick!
