Patrick Stewart, Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation, made Great Britain's 2010 New Year's Honours List, published officially today. Stewart, now Sir Patrick, received the rank of OBE (Officer of the British Empire) "For services to Drama". The official announcement appears on the British government's Cabinet Office website.
Here are some tweets from his TNG colleagues who are committed Twitterers:

Later...
"Guess I wasn't completely correct about Patrick. Apparently he'll be King of Scotland, Wales and North Ireland, as well."
Still later...
"Wait, you mean he's not going to be K...oh. Well, a Knight is good too, right? Hooray for Sir Patrick! He still lives with the Queen, right?"
Yes, Spiner--you know him as Commander Data--really gets into it. If you aren't following him on Twitter you should be.
