Pac-10 All-Academic teams

First they led the Cardinal to eight victories this season, now Toby Gerhart and Andrew Luck lead a host of Stanford football players on the Pac-10 All-Academic team.

Eight Cardinal in all were named to the First Team Pac-10 All-Academic team. Six Stanford players were named on the second team. Four more Cardinal players were given honorable mention.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or a significant substitute.

The Cardinal’s eight players on the first team and six on the second led both teams. Washington State placed five players on the first and second teams to be runner up. USC was the only school to not place any players on either list.
