Gasoline Alley, a Great Weekend Party Place

I have found my official Ultimate Fighting Championships watching headquarters. This place has everything you can ask for in a one stop weekend hangout. I’m talking about Gasoline Alley in Largo. Located at 14042 66th St its central location makes it the perfect meeting place for folks coming from north or south Pinellas County. Its very easy to get to sitting just north of Ulmerton Rd and right off the 66th St exit from US 19.

Now on to what makes Gasoline Alley such a great place to hang out. As you walk in the main entrance the bar area is wide open and huge. There are several tables in the middle but enough space to move around and mingle. The booths that line the far wall each have a flat screen tv and are big enough for four people, so you can enjoy the fights in relative privacy. The bar area boasts several large, flat screen tvs and a sound system that is loud enough to let you know what’s going on but won’t drown out your conversation. To the right of the main entrance is a small VIP room that also has two large tv sets, a private bar set up, several lounge style chairs and round tables. The fellows from Conflict Fight Gear and David Vieira’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are frequent patrons and have watched the last several UFC events at Gasoline Alley.

You might think that the only thing to do at Gasoline Alley is eat, drink, and watch fights, but oh no…there is much more! Just past the main bar area are two pool tables, dart boards, and several video games. So between fights or if you get there early there is still plenty to do. So it seems that Gasoline Alley is just a super cool bar with tvs everywhere and the ideal place to watch all the UFC action. But that still isn’t all that this place offers. Past the main bar area Gasoline Alley has a sweet indoor concert venue! An elevated stage, a wide open pit area, and two bars (complete with tvs overhead) truly make Gasoline Alley the perfect place. The concert area hosts bands that play Ska, Metal, Alternative, and even Jimmy Buffet covers. With such diversity, a good time can be had by all!

Although I choose to frequent Gasoline Alley to satiate my Mixed Martial Arts addiction, it is apparent that this is a great place for almost every occasion. With concerts going on weekly, the Rays season in full bloom, and the National Hockey League Playoffs there is no bad time to visit. Enjoy your good times responsibly! I’ll see you there!
