During a slow 0-3 start the Kent Predators struggled to put the ball in the end zone and fans in the seats. Now, six weeks into the season the Kent Predators are looking like a well-polished machine at .500 on the year. On Sunday at the ShoWare Center, the Predators earned their their second win against the Tri-cities Fever with a 55-33 victory.
The Fever wasted no time putting points on the board as quarterback Andy Collins threw to Thyron Lewis for a 23-yard touchdown pass. Predator's quarterback Charles McCullum drove the Predators downfield 40 yards, capped off by a ten-yard pass to Eric Taylor. On the Predators next possession Taylor turned a short pass into a 34-yard touchdown run. The Predators managed to score a third straight touchdown when quarterback McCullum dove into the end zone for the rushing touchdown to end the first half.
Despite a large first half lead the Predators continued to give the fans a great show. Predator's quarterback McCullum threw a 39-yard pass to Taylor, his third on the day.
Jeremiah Captain intercepted a Tri-Cities pass at mid-field and sprinted back 25 yards for the touchdown proving the Predators defense could score also.
