Adam "Pacman" Jones
Adam "Pacman" Jones has successfully completed his NFL-mandated alcohol treatment program and is raring to go. Where? Back to the Dallas Cowboys, of course. The question is, will Goodell let him back in the exclusive club or should he?
Here are the arguments for and against his next reinstatement. I'll let you all be the judge and decide what you'd like the commissioner to consider.
Let Pacman play: He's done everything he was asked to do after each suspension. He was diagnosed with a substance abuse problem that might have contributed to all his arrests and rule violations. He's now clean and ready to resume his career with a body that has been detoxed. If the Cowboys want to deal with all his BS they should be able to try.
Tell Pacman to try another sport: The rate of success with substance abuse isn't high enough to believe a mere month in rehabilitation will correct years of habitual bad behavior. He still has pending litigation from the Vegas shooting in which a man is now wheelchair-bound for life. That man has included the Titans and the NFL in his demand for damages. How many chances does one guy get to act like an adult? He's had too many already.
OK folks, let me hear about it. Nothing about the Adam Jones saga is without passion. You either love him or hate him. So you be the judge.

I like the poll thing there, Paula. I agree with the fact a person will not change just because they attended a short group/course that their advisors probably made him go to. Good try by 'Pac' though, blame the drugs and or alcohol whenever you can get away with it. My prediction is 'Pacman' is forced to sit the rest of the year at least.
Tom: The league has the right to have him checked out by its own mental health professionals prior to making any move. With Terence Newman back in their secondary I think the Cowboys will be OK.
