AFL HONORS SHARK PLAYERS

For the second consecutive week - and fourth time this season – the playoff bound Jacksonville Sharks (11-4) have been honored with an AFL award. Defensive back Micheaux Robinson was honored with Nifty Playmaker of the Week after his stellar performance against the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings.

Robinson was outstanding in his team’s critical victory. Robinson took Jacksonville one step closer to winning the South Division with a road win at Bossier-Shreveport. Robinson had seven pass breakups and a season-high 9.5 tackles.

“I am blessed and humbled to have been recognized by people around the league,” commented Robinson. “I am my own worst critique and didn’t think I played all that well. There are lots of guys that make big plays each week on our team and around the league. For me to have been given this honor makes me extremely happy and proud of my team around me that helped me make some plays.”
