Snake River Yamaha hosted its final Bike Night of the season on Saturday July 25th. This monthly Saturday event has proven to be one of the larger biker gatherings in Boise over the last few years, as a large spectrum of motorcycles congregate at the Fairview Street headquarters.
Bike night is an eventful evening put on by Snake River that includes a live band, a mini beer garden, food vendors, raffles, and other shenanigans. Saturday night’s festivities even included a nice little fashion show/product toss with models ranging from attractive young ladies to hairy old men. The gyrations of some of the male contestants showed a bit of a hidden Chip N Dale obsession that had previously gone unnoticed.
The bikes displayed were of course the main attraction. Snake River Yamaha doesn’t discriminate when it comes to a nice bike, so the variety of cycles in attendance was spectacular. From a 1933 Indian to a new 450-dirt bike modified for the up-coming Big Nasty Hill Climb, they came in from all over town. Choppers, hogs, dual sports, sidecars, dirt bikes, and street racers- you name it, you can find it at Bike Night.
If you consider yourself a motorcycle enthusiast and you missed out on the fun of Bike Night this year, make it a point to show up next season. You might leave with a fine raffle prize and a better appreciation for motorcycles in general.
