Rachel Bird has written two novels inspired by the Los Angeles Lakers. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara who bleeds blue and gold for the UCLA Bruins, she watches every second of tennis slams, can't stop talking about the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and is known to do push-ups during football game commercials.
