The New York State Prison Tour really has Plaxico Burress on the move. (Need we point out the potential for ironic former wide receiver jokes?)
Last week we mentioned his whirlwind stay at Rikers Island, where he was the object of many a taunt by the inmates. He then moved along to Ulster Correctional Facility with protective custody, something Burress once knew as “offensive tackle protection.” Now he’s calling Oneida Correctional Facility home sweet home.
Life in the clink isn't easy. Let’s all have a moment of silence for the rootin’, tootin’, shootin’ ex-Giant.
*Collective pause*
Ooh, maybe that expression of pity was a bit premature. Huh. Looks like Burress got himself a 12 X 12 a room. With a window. And no roommate.
Meanwhile back at the Cleveland Cavaliers ranch, fellow gun-toter Delonte West was a no-show two days in a row. Maybe he's home organizing all those "This is How it Went Down for Plaxico" notes we imagined him taking last week . . .
