Crash test review: Mercedes Benz SLS AMG

The crash test of Mercedes Benz SLS AMG is a very impressive review. Withstanding the offset, flip, and other standard crash tests, the SLS AMG holds true to the impressive safety history of Mercedes Benz. Since they started building vehicles, occupants safety has been  a key roll in product development. Safety first followed by performance, luxury and appearance are they key targets of the always trendy Mercedes Benz product. The new gull-wing design of the SLS AMG brings new variables to the safety table. Will it perform as well as their tank like sedans, coupes, and other standard door type roadsters? Most definitely, it is a Mercedes Benz product after all.

Watching the crash test video content of the SLS AMG by Mercedes Benz, it is obvious to see that every safety precaution has been taken. Trapped upside down and wonder how it could be possible to open a gull-wing style door? Charges places in the doors allow them to be kicked out and opened with minimal force. Ample headroom and proper airbag placement creates a virtual safety bubble around the passengers. Notice how the vehicle reacts to the offset crash and how well the passenger compartment withstands the impact!

This may be a radical design on a classic Mercedes Benz product, but it still carries the same traits of safety that we've all grown to love. When you climb into a Mercedes Benz machine, you are guaranteed two things. One, an expensive oil change! Two, the most advanced automobile safety systems in the world. Even NASA doesn't have it this good! Kudos to Mercedes Benz on developing another amazing performance machine that pushes the limit, while keeping us safe and comfortable.
