The Chevelle is one of the most significant muscle cars in all of automotive history, and burnouts are very common in the Chevelle scene. Chevelle burnout videos illustrating the ripping and roasting tires is just part of Chevelle life, despite the hefty price tag associated with the massive slicks that can be fitted. If you look at the general layout of the Chevelle chassis, it was basically designed to do one thing; burnout! The extremely open engine compartment allows for massive V8 engines to be used. Some of the most powerful engines can be found in Chevelles, typically meeting or exceeding horsepower levels around 1500 and beyond. Only the most hardcore enthusiast and savvy muscle car mechanic can build a vehicle of these proportions to withstand the abuse typically dished out. Chevelles don't have an easy life, they are purpose built and used!

Below you will find the most popular Chevelle burnout videos on the web today. They all have one thing in common, mega burnouts and blinding smoke screens! The first video is the most popular and has brought in just under 387,000 views via YouTube. A 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS clone with a 125 spray of NOS, ported heads, headers, turbo 350 transmission, suspension work, Flowmaster exhaust, and much more creates an amazing display of burnout goodness.

The second Chevelle burnout video features a well built 1968 Chevelle with low profile tires, chrome rims, and a beautiful paint job. Pulling up to the burnout zone via gravel drive, during the burnout you can see chunks of gravel flying everywhere! So much for that nice paint job and those low profile tires, it's safe to say this owner has plenty of funds to fix any damage. Bringing in 225,000 views, this is the second most popular Chevelle burnout video on YouTube today.

The third and final Chevelle burnout video features a 1970 Chevelle ripping a California street in half with 732 all motor horsepower! Outfitted with massive drag radials and a completely stripped interior, this is one nasty Chevelle. In stock form, the chassis is plenty light enough to roast the tires, but adding a full race weight reduction kit just adds to the fun. If I was a gambling man, I'd put money down saying this car could easily break loose at interstate speeds. Bringing in just under 220,000 views on YouTube, it's safe to say this is one of the nastiest Chevelles on the road.

Ha, this takes me back to my 468ci, aluminum headed Vette. Not sure what it is but I love destroying tires! I guess I possess that burnout gene as well. Watch out for the cops, that's not a fun ticket to get. Trust me, I know!
