Bugatti Veyron VS Audi R8

The Bugatti Veyron is the fastest production car in the world. With an estimated top speed of 255 mph, it dominates in nearly all forms of racing against it's competitors. The only place a Bugatti Veyron can't win, is in the launch. Due to the engines 16 cylinder setup, the time it takes to build up horse power is deadly to the Bugatti Veyron's launch capabilities. Whether a stand still or rolling start, most competitors always get the lead in the beginning. The Audi R8 is no different, and it too along with others out launches the Bugatti Veyron.

Let's take a look at what counts.

It's pretty obvious that the Bugatti is going to win, or is it? But by how much is what I find interesting.I'd like to see him out launch a fully modified STi or Evo. The same race, but against the vehicles denoted below.

Suggested affordable alternative to Bugatti Veyron:

The best bang for your buck in the quarter mile is not what you think. It's not the traditional high priced exotic. Take into consideration the all-wheel drive models offered by Subaru and Mitsubishi. Two sedans, the Lancer Evolution and Impreza WRX-STi can be heavily modified to win against the Veyron for a fraction of the cost by running a record setting 7 second quarter mile. Read more about modifying imports to get exotic speed. Let's take a look at the race footage and then comment below your thoughts.
