2010 MLB preview: Los Angeles Angels The Angels have won three straight division titles, they probably have the deepest starting rotation in the American League West, the have a fast break offense, and they still have Manager Mike Scioscia. However they took a beating over he off season, gone are four Angel mainstays, however they may remain the team to beat. However the AL West is wide open, as the other teams out west were busy adding pieces. |

2009 MLB season review: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim In 2009 the Los Angeles Angels won their third straight American League West title, but came up a little short in the American League Championship series losing there four games to two to the eventual World Champion New York Yankees. After losing a few of their stars in free agency at the end of 2008, the team worked hard to bring in new talent. After, yet another disjointing post season it seems that once again a few of the Angels stars are set to leave, leaving the Angels to restock and go after a fourth consecutive AL west title. |

On Friday the Los Angeles Angels traded for Starting Pitcher Scott Kazmir. Kazmir who helped take the Tamp Bay Rays to the World Series a year ago has so far been an unimpressive 8-7 with a 5.92 era. While he may indeed help the Angels with their run at the playoffs this is really a story about two teams in vastly different circumstances. |
