After the new-age music played for a few minutes, my friend sat-up. She slowly studied the dome around us, and then focused on the light coming in through the apex. She looked pleasantly dazed. I felt pleasantly dazed, too--a new experience for me. My entire body felt surprisingly and totally relaxed. If George Van Tassel's aim was to create a rjuvenation environment, he might have succeeded. My batteries definitely felt re-charged. My friend witnesses the magical indigo-blue colors that surrounded the windows. I grabbed my camera and took some shots, but, the violet blue did not come across through th camera lens. Perhaps this giant hearing aid might be usedful to the profoundly deaf? Ideas just spun through my head. Channeling sessions could be powerful exoeriences performed in energy vortexs. Someone once said "Sound is nutrition for the nervous system." No wonder musicians spent time here recording and marveling at the acoustics.
Tassel described his Integratron as a machine, a high voltage electrostatic generator that would supply a broad range of frequencies to re-charge the cell structure." He believed the Integratron was built atop a very powerful vortex specifically useful for healing. We did some stretching exercises, then headed to the lower level. As I went down the nautiacal stairway, I looked at the apex's window and it was still enshrouded in violet. We wandered around the little museum, reading plaques and photos of Van Tassell breaking ground during the Intragrtron's construction and I was reluctant for this time here to end. I had so many questions to ask, so much to learn about this place. The Integratron would have to remain a friendly mystery for the time being.
