This movement of Uranus ( the planet of awakening, surprise and rebellion) into Aries today at 6:48 pm PDT is a big deal.
I've written about it extensively all month. You can also google the countless opinions of other astrologers all over the web.
A few last thoughts as the beautiful planet of eccentricity and innovation restarts the zodiacal wheel for the first time in eighty years. (Though it will backtrack to Pisces in two and a half months, it will fully return to Aries on March 12, 2011 to remain until 2019.)
So this period ruling originality and uniqueness is a very long one.
Thank the goddess.
If there was ever a transit screaming 'Just Be You' in bright neon lights like a Broadway marquee, well, get ready.
This is it.
So if you've been waiting (and waiting) to let your true self emerge from whatever foxhole it's been hiding in, now's the time.
Tell the truth where you need to.
Be yourself and let the chips fall where they may.
That's Uranus.
In a homogenized, corporatized world, it does the soul good.
It may even save you.
After all, down deep everyone's a little weird.
Even the ones with really good covers.
And why would we want it any other way?
Yesterday I was writing in Alameda's wonderful Julie's Tea Garden, when I noticed I was surrounded by some rather insane art. A woman had put up an installation made entirely of ironing boards.
I hadn't even seen them when I first arrived.
One held a poem by Connie Pwll Walch Tyler,
The silenced goddess will flower
I'm continually reminded how I allow myself to be silenced
I silence myself
and yet there I am
flowering
overflowing
with green growing things

The fox hole reference made me laugh out loud. Don't know why....
The way things have been going for me lately, wherever the chips fall, I step in them.
Got something to say?
