Christine Scharmer is a retired Elementary School teacher. She received her B.A in Psychology from San Francisco State University and both standard and elementary teaching credentials from St. Mary's College.
After her eighteen-year-old son's car crash in 2002 she began writing her first book, "Raising Mario Twice." It was published in October 2009.
Christine started her speaking career by presenting Mario's and her story to churches, stroke and brain injury recovery groups, and "Victim Impact Panels" for MADD
