Lots of things are happening in Venezuela right now, and unfortunately, they aren’t in President Hugo Chávez’s favor.
First, Venezuelan Vice President and Defense Minister Ramon Carrizalez resigned yesterday for “personal reasons” among rumors of ideological differences with Chávez, according to The Herald Sun. Carrizalez’s wife and Environmental Minister Yuribi Ortega also resigned.
Next, two students were killed during a protest yesterday afternoon in Merida state against Radio Caracas Television’s decision to drop five stations that regularly broadcast opposition programming.
This kind of news has been generating a lot of online chatter, and it has angered Chávez to no small extent according to Noticias24.
"This is terrorism, using Twitter, the Internet, text messaging,” accused President Chávez. "I ask the country to ignore the rumors .... not get carried away by the insanity that comes out of labs.”
Chávez has denied that the Carrizalez resignations came as a result of the appointment of Cuban military advisers, and blamed the student deaths on the opposition. He has called on the opposition to “make policy and not rumors.”

He sits on something the whole world wants, if it wasn't for this commodity, Chavez would not be relevant. Those who have influence in the U.S. are targeting that country not only for it's natural resources, but it's relationship with Iran. Get ready for the "upholding democracy" line again. It's time to start the war plans.
If he doesnt cool it, something will have to be done. the spread of communism in our hemisphere can not be allowed.
