Fort Hood shooter used as excuse to scapegoat Muslims, Arabs

Alleged shooter Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan.  AP/USUHS

As soon as the name of the shooter at Fort Hood who killed 13 people and wounded 29—Nidal Malik Hasan—was known, reporters and bloggers began jumping to conclusions about his heritage and his motive.

Fox News Channel’s Shepard Smith said “the name tells us a lot,” and an op-ed column on FoxNews.com suggested the shooting spree was “the largest terror act since 9/11.”  Later, Fox and Friends hosts suggested that the military should conduct "special debriefings" for all Muslim officers.

Commentators at the Jihad Watch blog immediately labeled Hasan a “jihadi” and called for a “war on Islam.”

World Net Daily’s headline trumpeted “Fort Hood triggerman: Muslim, shrink, officer,” implying that Hasan’s religion was his most relevant attribute.

CBSNews.com decried an immediate “anti-Muslim backlash” that included at least one threatening call to the Arab-American Institute. However, the news website then poured fuel on the fire itself with its title for a videotaped interview with Ft. Hood Base Commander Lt. Gen Bob Cone: although Cone repeatedly emphasized the bravery and rapid response of the soldiers at the scene and made only a passing reference to “unconfirmed reports” that Hasan said “Allah Akbar” while shooting, CBS titled the video “Fort Hood Suspect: ‘Allahu Akbar’.”

Fearful of reprisals, local mosques have stepped up security, and relatives of Hasan issued a statement of their love for America; also, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) held a press conference denouncing the violence as unjustified by any religious ideology.

Lest you think that given Hasan’s name and religion, the backlash against Arabs and Muslims is only natural, recall that when Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people in 1995, no one raised alarms about his Catholic upbringing or his Irish heritage. And when it was discovered that Seung-hui Cho had compared himself to Jesus Christ before killing 32 people and himself at Virginia Tech in 2007, no one called for a “war" on either Christians or Korean-Americans.

Come to think of it, Ft. Hood shooter Nidal Hasan went to Virginia Tech himself…so why isn’t anyone inciting a “war on Virginia Tech”?

    Meagan,

Are you really this naive? Hasan wanted a good life with large $, then when time came to pay his due's he freaked out. He is what all Muslim males, who cannot get a date are - COWARDS. Their own "poor me" mental state, is a testament to their illogical faith, which drives them to kill the innocent, with the hope that they will find a woman in the next life. Yeah, right!

Christians would never kill in the name of religion. We are clean. Why else would God have made white people white? Because we're clean. Brown people are dirty. And dirt is bad. All good things of the Earth come from a big white cloud.

Oh my God!!!! You haters and racists would never understand!!!! Islam is not a hate religion. I don't believe Nidal could have killed 13 people and wounded many more himself. I just think he is a victim himself. This is an inside job. It's designed to turn the public against Islam and muslims. They did it themselves and blamed it on poor Nidal. The people who carried out 911 won't hesitate to do it again. The government is behind this.

Everybody has this guy convicted already. Too many reports of multiple shooters, rifle and pistol fire.Attacks in 2 seperate locations simultaneously. 2 suspects arrested and released. A third suspect arrested according to a Texas congressman. Governor Perry and various witness's referring to multiple shooters. This thing stinks.

Hey, if we are back in the profiling game.. how about monitoring a very very dangerous group on Wall St. JEWS!

Milken, Madoff, Goldman Sachs! - hey, if the cable newsies are calling for profiling... I suggest they look no further than Ben Bernanke, Summers, Geithner, Paulson [the stealth Jew who practices Christian Science - sort of like the secular Jew who opines on all things Palestinian... you know, an unbiased source.]

America is on ethnic and racial lockdown - but the 2% majority seems immune - even as they loot the place and thump for more war on Islam.

You and me? -- just cannon fodder and tax payers.

Army: 7 dead in DUAL attacks at Fort Hood, Texas

WASHINGTON — The Army says seven people were killed and 20 wounded in a PAIR of shootings at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas. An Army spokesman at the Pentagon says the shootings began about 1:30 p.m. Thursday at a personnel and medical processing center at Fort Hood.

The spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Nathan Banks, says TWO shooters were apparently involved. There is no word yet on who they were, nor on identities of the dead.
Banks says the SECOND incident took place at a THEATER on the sprawling base.

So, what happened to the other shooters? Why is the story being scrubbed to fit a narrative?

And where were Ft. Hood's MP's during this time? Why did a civilian cop from Killeen have to respond and take down the shooter(s)?

Last year some soldier ( a white christian dude ) shot and killed 5 of his colleagues in the same army base. Nobody said a word, it was a one day event on CNN and that's it. Why is this case being treated as some major event?

The truth is probably something VERY different. For example:
'Two US privates John Smith and John Henry had been seeing a military psychiatrist major Hasan at Fort Hood for a few weeks. Both privates said they were completely against the war of oppression in the middle east and would refuse to report for active duty if ordered to do so.
So the army put them both in therapy with Dr. Hasan. After more than five weeks of therapy both Christian privates were called to go to Afghanistan. Both privates warned they would not go and they would defend themselves with force if the army tried to force them to fight in a war they believed was morally wrong.
Yesterday fellow soldiers tried to surprise the two conscientious objectors but the privates were prepared and killed 12 soldiers who tried to force their way into the privates' barracks at Fort Hood.
During the mêlée their psychiatrist major Hasan, tried to talk the two privates into surrendering but he was shot twice.
    Finally both privat

Finally both privates were overcome and killed. Their psychiatrist major Hasan is in hospital recovering.'

Officials of the military have spun the story to make it seem the privates' doctor (who has a muslim sounding name) was the perpetrator so that the public does not understand just how much resistance there is to the middle east war in the military rank and file.

The whole official Fort Hood cover story is 98% a lie - just like 9/11. Do you trust the main stream media for the truth in a story like this? Heck, for any story?

    I do not.

Support the troops. End the war in the middle east and bring the troops home.

    Now.

Could this have possibly been a mutiny by a couple of the doctors patients? Maybe they were ready to fight back instead of being deployed and maybe the doctor felt the same way and maybe the doctor got framed. And maybe the country is about to be engulfed in civil war. And maybe the sheep are gonna be shook awake by the sounds of rockets and rifles at there doorsteps. Maybe this has been a long time coming. Maybe you should sell your stocks, bonds, and dollars and buy food, guns, ammo and other supplies and start organizing your community to protect friends, family and yourself from enslavement and tyranny. It is now time to acknowledge what is coming and to organize and prepare as much as you possibly can. God help us all.

Let this sink in for a moment. Young Texans are raised in the nation's strongest gun culture. Hunting is also huge there. If you're going to be a cop in that state, you have to put in for the storied Texas Rangers. Yet....

Major Hasan killed in the name of his God. Plain and simple. He was a very intelligent man and knew exactly what he was doing. He should have never joined our military knowing he'd be called upon for service to his country USA..........this is something much deeper.........and I truly hope we get the right answers.

Does anyone else realize that the major difference between Christians and Catholics Buddhists and Muslims is only one of these religions actually refers to non-believers as infidels and calls for the murdering of non-believers!? And one of these religions allows for dishonestly and lies if it furthers the mission of Allah.
