Nicki Minaj, 27 and Drake, 23 have the Internet buzzing with their latest news on Twitter. They have gotten married! Drake first revealed his wonderful news by Twitter saying, "please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and dont stare at her too long. She's finally mine. :)," he tweeted Friday afternoon.
Nicki Minaj took to her Twitter page as well. She Tweets: "Yes, its true. Drake and I tied the knot," she wrote, after asking her new hubby, "U scurred? @drakkardnoir u ready to make the announcement or wha?" Drake then replied (and Nicki Minaj retweeted), "Baby I am never scared. PROUD is more the word I would use."
Later in the day, the reps for Drake and Nicki Minaj told E! News that the rappers did not tie the knot, though both tweeted that they did earlier today. Maybe they just didn't tell them! Hmm?!
Nicki Minaj and Drake must have already had a thing going on as Drake shouts out Minaj in one of his singles, 'Miss Me'. His lyrics read: "I love Nicki Minaj, I told her, I'd admit it; I hope one day we get married, just to say we f--king did it; And girl I'm f--king serious, I'm with it if you with it."
Recently Drake canceled his summer concert tour to take care of his ailing mother, but that did not stop his feelings for Minaj. His album featuring the song 'Miss Me' was on his recent album that was leaked on the Internet, 'Thank Me Later'. Nicki Minaj recently added to her Tweets to share her thoughts of the anniversary Wednesday (August 25), of Aaliyah's passing. She said, "We'll always love you Aaliyah."
