A judgement has been made against grieving girlfriend and mom-to-be, Tila Tequila. She has apparently been too busy to respond to charges filed against her by San Diego Chargers star, Shawne Merriman. The $2 million lawsuit was originally filed by Merriman back in December, 2009 citing that socialite Tila Tequila made defamatory claims against him, attempting to ruin his career.
In a recent post by TMZ.com, Tila appears to have lost the first part of this battle in court. After failing to respond to the charges, the judge issued a default judgement against Tila. The case is not over just yet. Tila has the right to appeal to have the judgement set aside and to fight the charges in court.
Tila is reported to have dated Merriman earlier in the year, although he claims she was merely an acquaintance. Tila called the police in September, making accusations against Merriman of 'battery and false imprisonment'.
In the original lawsuit filed by Merriman, Tila is accused of making false accusations depicting him as physically abusive. Further, she posted comments on her website claiming that Merriman 'sleeps with minors and forces them to take drugs'. She went even further to state that he manufactures drugs in his oen home.
